Buying Rules

Prioritise knitwear, quarter zips, hoodies and zip-ups before September demand lifts sourcing prices.
Keep ordinary autumn pieces cheap. The table has plenty of viable buys under £20, so do not chase average stock at premium buy-in.
Treat notes as filters: cable knit, estate rib, thick knits, mohair and wool are better signals than thin generic knitwear.
Be stricter on rep-heavy categories such as Essentials, Carhartt, NOCTA and Stone Island. If authenticity is not clear, leave it.

Selling Strategy

List autumn layers before the weather fully turns. Early buyers start moving before casual sellers notice the shift.
Use the midpoint sell band for normal condition, the top of the band only for clean photos, desirable colours and strong sizes.
If a listed autumn item has no traction after 14 days, reprice into the lower half of the sell band instead of waiting for a perfect buyer.

Photography Tips

Lead with a clean front shot showing texture, zip, logo and neckline.
Add close-ups of knit texture, cuffs, hems, tags and any badge or embroidery.
For dark hoodies and knits, shoot in daylight so buyers can see fading, bobbling and stains clearly.

Key Rules

Cashflow: Use hoodies and sweatshirts for faster turnover while heavier winter stock builds.
Buy Window: The cheap autumn sourcing window is before September demand pulls other resellers back in.
Price Discipline: Do not pay up for ordinary pieces when the database has many £10-£20 target buys.
